A twelve-member board of directors comprised of business leaders and officials from the City of Huntsville govern Big Spring Partners, Inc., Huntsville continues to experience rapid growth and expansion of high tech industries and a constant search for excellence in our universities and college assets.

Economic development is a hallmark of the mission of Big Spring Partners, Inc., We are organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes and more specifically to support downtown development efforts of the city by accepting donations and contributions for the redevelopment and revitalization of the downtown area.

There have been two successful ventures for Big Spring Partners, Inc., which include the Holiday Inn Hotel and the Tom Thrasher Memorial Fountain in the canal extension of the Big spring. There are two projects underway at the present time. One project is the creation of a Veterans Memorial in Veterans Park and the other is a Rotary Plaza / Promenade located just behind the South Hall of the VBC.

We believe Big Spring Partners, Inc., is an active participant in creating a better quality of life and enhancing downtown Huntsville.
